Located on Clink Street adjacent to the Thames, Winchester Wharves are a pair of Grade II listed warehouses dating from the 1820s, set within a listed conservation area. Using our experience with similar properties, we retained as much of the existing fabric of both buildings as possible, creating unique and highly sought-after apartments. A number of the existing window profiles remained and were used as a template for the replacement of a number of modern additions. These alterations and the reinstatement of a pitched roof to the East building enabled the property to be converted to residential use and breathed new life into the building, which otherwise had limited economic use.
