David Humbles – Managing Director
David is English and worked in the downstream oil industry in the UK for 25 years mainly in sales and marketing. In 1998 he moved to the Isle of Man with his family when he was appointed Managing Director of the Total subsidiary that provides fuel to the island. At the time its retail network was established but more construction was required to provide the island with modern facilities.
He joined Oakmayne in 2005. David is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Epicure Berlin and a Director of a Brazilian property fund.
Oakmayne has always concentrated on London, Residential, Re-generation projects and this strategy is very attractive to international equity. As a Londoner, David has a particular affinity with his home city and is proud of the economic stimulus that the Oakmayne model provides to the UK.
Jane Watterson FCCA – Finance Director
Jane is Manx and before joining Oakmayne in January 2008 Jane had spent eight years in public practice, having qualified with Chartered Accountants Baker Tilly Isle of Man in 2003.
She is responsible for the production of detailed scheduled reports to equity investors and Shareholders showing project progress and updating forecast returns. She also works with advisors to model and filter new acquisitions to include corporate structures and acquisition finance models.
Jane also has day to day responsibility for the timely submission of project drawdowns to the Banks, production of management information for the Board and general administration of the companies.
In her spare time Jane and her husband (and two small sons) build and renovate houses on the Island and have completed several successful projects. The opportunity to join Oakmayne allows her to combine her professional qualifications with her passion for property development.
Guy Wiltcher – Director
Guy is Manx and has worked with Oakmayne since 2006.
A chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor he is currently Managing Partner of Greystone LLC Chartered Accountants, a leading independent accountancy practice on the Isle of Man.
Guy has a particular interest in urban development and regeneration. He gained a Masters degree in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool and, prior to returning to his native Isle of Man, worked as a town planner in the UK and overseas including as a Principal Planning Officer at the London Borough of Hackney. He is also a member of the Institution of Economic Development.
Mike Riddell – Director
Mike is Canadian and has been working with Oakmayne since 2005, when he joined Greystone Trust Company as Managing Director. Mike moved to the Isle of Man in 2001, and has worked in trust and corporate services and financial services, including the Cayman Islands and Canada, since 1988. Mr Riddell qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada in 1986.
